White sauce pasta, emerged from Italy, now dominates the world. Its creaminess and cheesiness is all to water your mouths. But while listening to your taste buds, do not compromise with your digestive system. Yes, I am talking about the penne pasta used in white sauce pasta. These pasta are made of all purpose flour which is way too heavy on your digestive system. That is why, I have prepared a healthier white sauce pasta. I have used in this recipe semolina penne pasta. Also, for making white sauce, people used refined flour, but I did it with wheat flour. And, wheat white sauce tastes same as the commercial ones.

Preparation for white sauce pasta
- In a oven friendly bowl, take semolina pasta and add double water.
- Place this bowl into and cook it till softens. You can also boil pasta over gas stove.

- In a pan, take butter. Add finely chopped garlic to it.
- Add in chopped capsicum and onions and sauté well.
- Now, transfer partial cooked vegetable to another bowl.

Making white sauce
- In a pan, ad 1 tsp butter and let it melt.
- Add 1 tsp wheat flour to it and whisk them. Use a hand whisker that will prevent from any lump formation.
- From this step, your hands cannot take rest. You need to whisk continuously. After a couple of minute, add 1 tbsp of milk and keep stirring it using whisker. Once it is combined and there is no lump add 2 tbsp milk again. This way keep adding milk in small batches to avoid any lumps.
- Stop adding milk once it arrives at liquid consistency. If you find that it is still thick, add in more milk.
- Allow the sauce to boil for 3-5 minutes at medium flame. (you can add cheese at this step if you want to). Keep stirring slowly now. Once it gets thicken, add rock salt. Mix it well and turn off the flame.

White sauce pasta recipe
- In this prepared white sauce, add cooked vegetables. Combine everything well.
- Add salt to seasoning, crushed black pepper and some pizza herbs. Mix well.
- Your white sauce pasta is ready at home, which is all way healthy.
